The City of Preston is accepting proposals to update the City Comprehensive Plan. The full RFP can be viewed via the link below or requested through the contact us tab on our website. All questions about the RFP shall be directed to City Administrator Ryan Throckmorton by the email listed in the RFP or by phone at 507-765-2153. Proposals must be submitted by March 13, 2025 at 4:00 PM.

Preston Public Utilities has completed and submitted our water service line materials inventory to the Minnesota Department of Health. The water service line inventory is publicly available, and you can check the materials for your service line by visiting the Lead Inventory Tracking (LITT) you may also contact us at 507-765-2491 or Contact us Here. To complete the service line inventory our system went door to door to visually inspect the water service line where it entered the home. As of 10/1/2024 our inventory contains 1 lead, 27 galvanized requiring replacement, 18 unknown material, and 616 non-lead service lines.
